At Julie’s Pooch Pad, we believe small dogs deserve a safe, loving, and stress-free home environment where they feel comfortable and cared for.
The idea for the Pooch Pad came from Julie’s own struggle to find quality care for her small dog. She wanted a calm, cage-free space where small dogs could relax, socialize safely, and receive personal attention.
That vision became Julie’s Pooch Pad — a trusted home away from home where every dog is treated like family.
Meet Julie
After working with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and a high-level diplomat, Julie chose to follow her true passion — caring for animals. She created Julie’s Pooch Pad to provide small dogs with a safe, loving, cage-free home environment.
With over 19 years of experience, Julie has cared for hundreds of happy dogs while building trusted relationships with their families. She is certified in Canine First Aid & CPR, holds a Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins Business School, and continues to stay educated in dog care, behavior, and safety.
Today, Julie remains dedicated to giving every dog personal attention, comfort, and compassionate care like they are part of the family.
